Red Fern Landworks LLC (“Red Fern Landworks,” “we,” “us”) is a land clearing and forestry mulching business at 11057 Country Club Road, West Frankfort, IL 62896. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit redfernlandworks.com, call or text us, or hire us, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- What you give us. Your name, phone number, email, property address, photos of the property and details about the job. This comes from our quote form, calls, texts and emails.
- Calls and texts. Our phone system keeps a record of calls and texts with our business number. Calls may be recorded, and we tell you at the start of the call when they are.
- Job and billing records. Quotes, invoices, payment status and notes about the work. Card and bank payments are handled by our payment processor. We don’t store full card or bank account numbers.
- Basic website data. Like most websites, our web host automatically logs things like your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We don’t use advertising trackers on this site. If that changes, we’ll update this policy.
How we use it
- To give you a quote, schedule the work and do the job
- To call or text you about your request, scheduling, weather delays and job updates
- To send invoices and take payment
- To answer your questions and keep our business records
- To keep the website working and block spam
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to get texts, we’ll text you about your quote, scheduling and the work. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts, or HELP for help.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text opt-in consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The only companies that handle your number are the ones that deliver our messages, like our phone provider and the wireless carriers.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We only share it:
- With companies that help us run the business, like our phone and text provider, website host, scheduling and invoicing software and payment processor. They can only use it to provide their service to us.
- With 811 (JULIE in Illinois) and utility companies when we ask for buried lines to be marked at your property.
- When the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute.
Photos of your property
We take before-and-after photos of our work. We may share photos of the cleared ground on our website or social media. We won’t post your name or address, and we’ll leave out anything you ask us to.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as we need it for your job, for taxes and bookkeeping, and as the law requires. After that, we delete it.
Keeping it safe
We use reputable providers and limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop getting texts from us.
- To see, correct or delete the information we have about you, email info@redfernlandworks.com or call (618) 995-8266. We may need to keep some records for taxes or legal reasons.
Children
This site and our services are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
