Terms of Service
Effective October 24, 2026
These terms cover your use of redfernlandworks.com and our text messages. They’re between you and Red Fern Landworks LLC, 11057 Country Club Road, West Frankfort, IL 62896. By using the site or texting with us, you agree to them.
Prices and estimates on this site
The prices on this site and the “What will my land cost?” estimator are starting points to give you a ballpark. They aren’t a quote. Your price is set in a written quote after we see the property or your photos. That quote, not this website, sets the price and the scope of your job.
Your job
Each job is covered by its own written quote or agreement. A few things apply to every job:
- Property lines. You’re responsible for marking your property lines. We don’t survey.
- What stays. Mark trees and anything else you want kept with ribbon, flagging tape or spray paint in a bright color.
- Buried lines. We call 811 to have public utility lines marked before we grind below ground. 811 doesn’t mark private lines, so tell us about septic tanks, field lines, wells, private water or electric lines and anything else buried on your property.
- Permission. You confirm you own the property or have the owner’s permission for the work.
- Weather. If the ground is too wet to work without rutting it, we’ll move the date.
- Payment. Payment is due when the job is finished, by card or bank transfer from your invoice link, or by check.
Text messages (SMS terms)
- What you’ll get: Texts from Red Fern Landworks LLC about your quote request, scheduling, job updates and customer support.
- How you sign up: By checking the text box on our quote form, texting our business number, or asking us to text you.
- How often: Message frequency varies with your job.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
- Stop anytime: Reply STOP to unsubscribe. You’ll get one text confirming you’re unsubscribed.
- Help: Reply HELP, call (618) 995-8266, or email info@redfernlandworks.com.
- Agreeing to texts is not required to get a quote or hire us.
- Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- We never share your mobile number or text opt-in consent with third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy.
Using this website
The content on this site is general information. We work to keep it accurate, but prices, services and availability can change. The site is provided “as is.” Please don’t misuse the site or the quote form, like sending spam.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Red Fern Landworks LLC isn’t responsible for indirect or consequential damages from using this website. This doesn’t change the written quote or agreement for your job.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
Changes
We may update these terms. The newest version will always be on this page with its effective date.
